Sun rays come down as seen when they hit the ground.

What I wore today. =)

I am beaming now for no special reason. Complicated story actually. I'd love to share it out here but it's a bit inappropriate. Sorry guys...
I had a good weekend. And to top if off, I've heard some really good news about a min ago too. Anyway, its avocado juice and vanilla ice-cream for dinner tonight.
Spent the weekends with family and took grandma out for a movie on Saturday night. We watched Wu Xia and maaaaaayynnn....that Takeshi dude is one fine piece of- ...nvm. heh.
Tomorrow is baking day with my fellow bestie. =) Our attempt is to make that thousand layer crepes that Nadeje is so famous of.

Wait a minute...dammit! I still have not done that accounts assignment. Ok I better get going soon. Gotta shower now. Till then loves!

XOXOXO

Beautiful people.

Now I bet you have met a few special people working in KFC or even McD’s before haven’t you? Those are the ‘special people’ who can follow orders and control their emotions. Most of the others, who can’t seem to overcome that, are left rejected. As adults, they can’t be depending on their parents forever. Thus, Joy Workshop was found. This workshop welcomes the left behind-ers and takes them in, providing them special care and simple jobs to earn themselves a living.

For my last holidays, I went in as a volunteer. A teacher at first, but a friend in the end. Wasn’t too used to them calling me “teacher” because most of them are older than me.  Most of them are between the age of 18-50. The girl in orange and shades above her head, Priya, is majoring in psychologist and doing her intern there. When I came in, it was already her last week.

They really give you this warm ambiance the min you step in. Greeting you with smiles and some even will come hugging you. At first I wasn't quite use to handling them. Not knowing what to do when Amin started to scream or throw stuffs, or when Mei Lin started to talk to me in her own language.
I panicked when Chee Siong started to pee in his pants and was wondering how in the world am I gonna clean him up? O.O he's a grown man for God's sake. But here's the special part about them... the other 'special students' will sound the one who does something wrong and help each other clean up.
Then there's also Alvin who talks NON-STOP like seriously... and claims he is an American citizen. Sometimes he pees and claims that he came his period. Or even tell me he's actually a girl but his parents mistook him for a boy. T.T
Oh and Maria is a real chit-chatter too. Everyday she will have a new complain and get's cranky when you don't give her enough attention.

At the end of day one, Priya gave my few tips on how to handle each of them. There's only one main teacher there, aunty Rosalyn, and then there's Priya and me. Priya was going off in 4 days and I will be taking over her. 2 teachers and 20 disabled students. Now imagine if I didn't turn up to help. =(

Anyways, I shall introduce a few of them to you.

This is Chen Lian, 24 yrs old, and me. From day 1, we had a bond. =)

and this is Christopher. 22 yrs of age and he is my favourite!
Why, you ask?
because he beams whenever I call his name.

 Priya, playing cards with them.

This is Dennis. 23. Hardest to handle but still adorable.
He uses that red cover to whack other people's head and make them wail and scream and the whole place will be like =.=

and here we have Vincent. 20. One of my favorite too.
He told me he dreams of becoming a pastor someday and we can talk just about anything!

She was camera shy at first.

Look at their happy faces. =)

This is them having lunch, one random day, an uncle of mine bought them all KFC for lunch. =)

And this was my last day.

Volunteered about a month there and I will be going again during my hols. I feel honoured to be called their "jie-jie"/ "teacher" although I think I am almost the youngest. XD

Give them your care, and in return, they'll give you their heart.
They are special in so many ways, only one can tell when you work or stay with them.
If ever you have nothing to do for you holidays, please do drop by or come as a volunteer,
it'll make them feel so content and I promise you, they will make you feel special too. =)

here's their website.

till then, Afiq, this post is for you. =)

Ok, off to class now. Bye! XOXO

The return of my babies. =)

Hiao wanna camwhore but shy wanna show face. Lol.
Ok actually it's cause i was a little cranky that day thanks to forever late boyfee. We were suppose to go have lunch at 12 he ended up picking me at 3. Screamed at him till he almost flew.

Looks familiar? Yes we went Baboon House for burgers! =)
Ronball loved it! Said it's better than Carl's Junior.
So if you ain't Malaccan, come make a trip here and try this for lunch and go to Pak Putra's for dinner.
Supper good food we have here.

Fridays and Saturdays are always full of nonsense when he's around. Happy kinda nonsense though. =) As always we had our movie marathon. Harry Potter was eyy...nice? (I'm no good in commenting on movies. =.=) and Hanna was brutal. A 6 year old girl sat beside me during Hanna and she covered her eyes like 15 times. lol

and here's Lola! My baby bunny.
Ok, she's no longer a baby anymore. More like a full grown lady. But damn garang lady. Worse than me ok. Her mood swings damn kao.

 AH-HAH! CAUGHT YOUUUU!
(she nibbles every damn thing! Kek-sei I tell you.)

Scolded her and made her stand sit corner for 5 mins.
(after 1 min she ran away dy lor actually. T.T)

This pic may look torturing. Lol. But nahh...my bro was sayang-ing her actually and pushed her fur forward to give her a grumpy look. X)

It's my turn to take care of her now. Till Ronball comes back from Bangkok. =( He'll be leaving Wednesday...and it'll be 2 weeks for us to meet again.

of sharing big dreams and high hopes.
of midnight snacks and tummy aches.
of falling asleep in movies and cranky lunch burgers.

Until then, have a safe journey there and enjoy urself darling! Love u...=)

I don't mind turning lesbian if she don't mind being my partner.

Everybody, meet NIKITA.

FUCK! MAGGIE DENISE QUIGLEY WHY YOU SO DAMN CHIOOOOO?!
Nikita is a trained assassin gone rogue trying to stop a secret U.S. agency known only as Division from recruiting deeply troubled teenagers and training them to be assassins.

I am SO downloading this series!

Chinese version of fine dining.

I was keen on writing this post last week. But as mentioned I didn't manage to squeeze in my time for a blog post. Oh well, here it is.
The weekend when every KL citizen was running to Malacca or anywhere else to save their asses from the Bersih rally, I.....took a bus up! LOL.
Because of a promise to Ronball.
It was sweet of him to have booked dinner for two at The Grand Millennium Hotel.
(Damn rundown place but oh well, it's the thought that counts.)

As you can see, super deserted. Can practically hear crickets chirping. O.O

We waited 15 mins to be served and he actually ate all the prickled chillies while waiting.

My "I am bored and don't take my pic lahhh..." look.

First dish! We got excited and gobbled everything up in less than 2 mins.

Next! 2 ketul of everything. Like when you just started to enjoy your meal, *poof! No more d.

One miserable broccoli, one ketul fish and tofu. T.T

Poor darling, he was so hungry, even you can tell from the pic. No time to even look nvm smile for the camera.

Then came this. One biji abalone on top of tofu and some vege underneath.

and THIS WAS THE LAST DISH DAMMIT!

...and VOILA! dessert. Every damn thing one biji. KIAM KANA.
BOLEH MATI ORANG CAN? So this is what fine dining is?
Oh God I don't ever wanna do this again. Thank God we had coupons and we only paid rm39 per-person.

Luckily 2 more couples joined us. Rather awkward to have them waiters and waitresses' attention all the time. o.o

Goodness, we went for second round of food after we left the hotel. LOL. But it was fun. Funny how he was such a perfectionist while having dinner while I was...er...being myself?

Me: *thhk-thhk-tthhhhkkk! -using tongue trying to remove a lil broccoli which was stuck in between my teeth.
Ron: o.0 erm dear, fine-dining pls?
Me: But irritating lah. *continue.
Ron: dearrrr...~ that old lady staring dy laa...*shy.
Me: fine. pass me a toothpick then. *thhk-thhk-thhk.
Ron: *pressing his forehead with his fingertips.

HAHA! I don't know bout you but I simply can't stand it when there's food in between my teeth.
